How Do We Charge for Sewer? - Winter Quarter Sewer Averaging
Residential customers’ monthly sewer charges are based on the average gallons of water used during the winter months. The monthly sewer usage is averaged every year during this time, and the new average usage will be reflected on the customer’s April bill. Sewer is charged at 4,471 gallons per month for new customers without a usage history or $57.88 per month. This is the residential average sewer usage during the winter months.
Commercial customers are charged sewer based upon their monthly usage.
