The week of July 10-14, PWS staff will be conducting water service line surveys alongside representatives of Mueller Systems to classify the type of materials used in water services.  The bulk of the surveys will be performed in the Floridatown area, the area around Church Street, and the area around Fowler Drive.  This survey is being performed to assist in the calibration of a testing methodology to assist nationwide in the lead service line (LSL) inventory mandated by EPA.  To the best of our knowledge and based upon retired employee statements, field investigation, and records research, PWS never used lead service lines.  This survey is being conducted in some of the older areas of development along our oldest water mains.  If you have questions about this survey, please call the office at 850-994-5129 and ask to speak with Daryl or Damon.
